‘Children of Ghosts’ is a poetry anthology offering to the discourse and reality of Black masculinity in South Africa amid the politics of economy, culture, sexual abuses and freedom. It is an overture to inspiring a meaningful and sincere interrogation and inclusion of Black men and masculinity in the conversations of love, mental health, happiness, feminism and social reform. ‘Children of Ghosts’ also attempts to give personal insight on the plight of being an artist and exercising that freedom while being Black and a man and South African.
